4.3.20 Nganyari MCS COVID-19

Kulawarga Sekolah Mason Kutha,

We appreciate your patience and perspective as we settle into our Remote Learning reality. If you haven’t explored our dedicated COVID-19 website, we encourage you to do so.

Watch video iki of Superintendent Jonathan Cooper sharing ways our Comet CommUNITY is coming together!

Kaya wingi jam 2 sore, ora ana kasus sing dikonfirmasi saka COVID-19 ing Sekolah Bandar Mason, lan 2,902 kasus sing dikonfirmasi ing Ohio. Ing ngisor iki minangka tanggapan kanggo pitakon umum saka kulawarga lan masarakat.

What types of learning assignments should I expect as we enter the next phase of Remote Learning on Monday?

The majority of our learning will be asynchronous so that students can engage at a time that is convenient to the family’s schedule.

If your child is in grades PK-6:

Guru bakal nyakup sinau saka kabeh bidang konten. Learning plans will include a mix of introducing new content and allowing students time to practice and reinforce what has been introduced.

Siswa ora prelu ing ngarep piranti kanggo kabeh wektu sinau. Rencana sinau bakal kalebu kombinasi pengalaman sing mbutuhake teknologi lan ora mbutuhake teknologi. Siswa bakal nggunakake wektu maca, nulis, utawa ngrampungake masalah matematika adoh saka layar.

Guru daerah khusus (kayata gym, musik, lan seni) will each share one lesson a week for students to engage in.

Yen anak wis diwenehi biji 7-12:

Siswa bakal nampa rencana sinau saben minggu saka gurune kanggo kabeh kursus sing saiki daftarkan ing MMS utawa MHS. Rencana sinau mingguan bakal diatur supaya siswa bisa melu sinau kanthi cara sing paling cocog karo jadwal lan pilihan sinau. Sawetara siswa bisa uga seneng melu saben kursus saben dina lan sawetara uga luwih seneng fokus 1-2 kursus saben dina.

Rencana sinau bakal nggunakake macem-macem cara kanggo narik minat siswa sinau konten lan katrampilan anyar. Rencana sinau bakal kalebu kombinasi pengalaman sing mbutuhake teknologi lan ora mbutuhake teknologi.

Learning plans will primarily ask students to utilize tools and resources they are familiar with and have used throughout this year. Yen siswa butuh dhukungan utawa pandhuan tambahan kanthi aspek rencana pembelajaran, they are strongly encouraged to take advantage of the Comet Connect Time (see below) and/or email their teacher.

If your student receives core academic instruction in a specialized classroom

Spesialis intervensi sampeyan bakal kontak karo sampeyan kanggo nggawe rencana masing-masing kanggo menehi pelajaran.

How long will my child be expected to spend focused on learning activities each day?

Ngerti manawa akeh kulawarga sing nyuda pirang-pirang tanggung jawab ing omah lan nalika sekolah biasa siswa duwe wektu sing ora sinau (tuladhane, nalika nedha awan, transisi antar kelas, utawa istirahat), pangarep-arep kita yaiku para siswa bakal nglampahi kurang saka dina sekolah kanthi aktif nindakake kegiatan sinau. Sepisan suwene siswa nglampahi kegiyatan sinau bakal beda-beda gumantung karo kecepatan sinau.

Yen sampeyan ngerti manawa murid sampeyan kewalahan lan kegiyatan sinau mbutuhake wektu sing suwe utawa siswa sampeyan siyap melu kegiatan sinau, please reach out to your teacher.

How do I get refunds for activities, events or trips that have now been cancelled?

We are issuing refunds for activities and field trips that were scheduled in April but have now been cancelled. If you have questions about an activity or trip, please reach out to your school principal.

Kepiye carane bisa ndhukung komitmen kita?
Shop for Senior Citizens: The Coronavirus crisis is affecting almost everyone’s routines, transportation, and way of life. This means that the usual social support and contacts older adults have with others may be diminished. For homebound seniors without support networks, this can be devastating. For some, the ability to even get to the grocery store for basic food items has been completely disrupted. In response, United Way of Warren County Volunteer Resource Center in partnership with Warren County Community Services, Inc. is recruiting volunteers willing to shop for 60 identified low-income and at-risk senior citizens in our community for the most basic and sustainable items. Sign Up to Help!

Unite with Light for Healthcare Professionals: On Sunday, April 5th at 8PM, place a luminary or a simple candle outside your home as we unite with light. Let this offer support to the many doctors, nurses and medical professionals working to aid others through the COVID-19 outbreak. Let this allow our community to shine bright despite the circumstances!

Deleng nganyari sadurunge.

We appreciate kabeh sing juggling. Menehi dhewe sih-rahmat!
